Job Description
MPK is seeking Mechanical, Civil, Project Controls and Cost (Quantity Surveyors) Graduate Engineer to join our projects in the Surat Basin, on either a 14:7 or 19:9 roster. Our Graduate Engineers support technical, coordination of varying aspects of the project and work closely with the field operations team. Key duties include:
Work with the Engineering team to assist in the implementation of componentry (Mechanical)
Work with the Engineering team to assist in the implementation of civil construction works (Civil)
Review of design documentation and data to ensure design is clear and easily understood by construction crews
Use relevant Australian Standards, Codes of Practice or Client Specifications/Procedures to assist the Engineering team in making technical determinations
Assist in the production of documents required for construction and QA purposes including drawings and schematics
Assist in the management of construction materials
Assist in the planning of field tests plans and preparation of test packs
Assist in the reporting of construction progress and performance
Assist in the provision of Engineering support for operations across the group
Desired Skills and Experience
About you:
Suitable applicants will have graduated from their bachelor’s degree in engineering within the last 18 months. Previous work placements are advantageous. Candidates will need to have solid knowledge of Microsoft programs.
