About the Role:
MPC Kinetic is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team, based in our Brisbane Support Office. Reporting to the Engineering Lead, the ideal candidate for this position will be highly motivated with a passion for Document Control.
Responsibilities include:
- Compliance with the MPK Document Control Procedure.
- Manage and operate a project-compliant document control system in order to store, manage and track company documents;
- Submit and receive project documentation through the Client's portal;
- MPK ‘SharePoint’- Update and maintain the content within the SharePoint database and assist users with learning how to use it/find and store information;
- Action tasks received through the Doc Control group inbox;
- Documentation – Review documentation; Internal and external requests; Creation of forms, checklists, manuals, etc.; Manage the revision status of documents. Management submittals and transmittals of documents through the client's portal;
- Project Deliverables List – Review list and/or docs on client's portal to determine/confirm currency;
- Upkeep of project specific SharePoint site
- Project Correspondence – Upload all formal project correspondence in SharePoint;
- Submit the request for information, Technical Queries;
- Plan and action activities to meet the requirements of the project schedule;
- Ensure that Document Control Objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved.
About You:
- Compliance with the MPK Document Control Procedure.
- Previous experience as a Document Controller in a similar organisation, with experience in establishing an auditable knowledge management system across multiple work groups.
- Strong knowledge of Document Control best practices and management processes, as well as ISO Standards.
- Advanced Microsoft Office hands-on skills are essential (at a minimum: Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Proficient in SharePoint.
- Experience with Visio and Smartsheet.
- High attention to detail.
- Able to work and deliver good results in a fast-paced environment.
