Key Responsibilities
To be successful, you will be self-motivated, focused on continuous improvement and committed to working collaboratively with your colleagues.
- Provide engineering & technical support to E&I Construction Team(s)
- Provide electrical drafting support
- Produce QA and Drawing Work packs for the Field Electricians
- Contribute to the production of the Company’s - Manufacturers Data Records (MDR)
- Assist the Electrical Supervisors with the purchase of E&I materials supplied by the Company
- Assist with plant commissioning projects
- Progress reporting to Lead Engineer
- Use relevant Australian Standards, Codes of Practice /Procedures to make technical determinations
- Liaise and co-ordinate with Company Construction Teams
- Developing commissioning procedures, test plans, and operational documentation
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years proven construction experience in MV & LV reticulation
- 5 years proven E&I experience in large O&G construction projects
- Proven ability to commission MV & LV Switchgear
- Demonstrable experience in scope negotiations and costing
- Ability to oversee & coach graduate E&I Engineers & Electricians
- Experience in hazardous area environments
- Strong understanding of Australian standards
- Experience with fibre optic cabling, termination, testing, and commissioning (desirable)
